When you join the Civora Academy waitlist via Google Forms, we collect your name, email, profession, and LinkedIn profile URL.

We use this information to

• Notify you about Civora Academy enrollment and updates
• Send you communications about privacy law, AI governance, and our services
• Understand who's interested in our programs

Data retention: We keep your data for 2 years or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. After 2 years, we'll reach out to confirm your interest. If we don't hear from you, we'll delete your information.

To unsubscribe: Reply "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any email, or email us at contact@civoraadvisory.com to remove yourself from the waitlist anytime.

When you book a consultation, you're directed to Calendly (a third-party scheduling tool). Calendly collects your name, email, and meeting details.

7. Data Retention

How long we keep your data:

• Contact form submissions: 1 year (for reference and follow-up)
• Newsletter subscribers: We keep your email to send Privacy Pulse insights. We'll re-engage annually to confirm interest. Inactive subscribers (no opens or clicks for 1 year) will be deleted.
• Academy waitlist: 2 years or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. After 2 years, we'll check in to confirm continued interest. No response = deletion.
• Calendly bookings: Until 6 months after the meeting date, then deleted
• Consulting clients: Per contract terms; typically deleted 3–7 years after engagement ends (for legal and tax reasons)
